Ghana’s U20 have qualified for the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations that is set to happen in Mauritania next year after reaching the finals of the West African Football Union, WAFU tournament.

The Black Satellites won their Tuesday match, beating Niger 5-3 on penalties in the semi-finals at the Charles de Gaulle stadium in Porto-Novo, Benin.

All though Ghana had a goal which was disallowed for offside in the second half, both countries couldn’t produce a goal after 120 minutes of play, which led to the normal routine of penalties.

The Black Satellites will face the winner of the second batch of the semi-final match between Burkina Faso and Ivory Coast.
